ARKHANGAI

This is Mongolia's Switzerland.

Last summer I went to this place with Japanese friends. We spent a very happy time. This place is called Arkhangai. It means "north-Khangai"- most of the aimag is on the north slope of Mongolian's spectacular Hangai Nuruu. Arkhangai is my grandfather, grandmother and mother's country. When I was little my mother talked about their country. At that time I thought, I want go to this place. Arkhangai is located 700 kilometrs from Ulaanbaatar. There are many mountains, rivers, lakes, cliffs, forests, and a volcano. There are the second-higest mountains in Mongolia. I usually go to Arkhangai by car. When we arrived, we went to "Taikhar chuluu" by horse. It had very fresh air.

ERDEHE-ZUU

This is called Erdene-zuu Monastery. It is located in a Karakorm. A long time ago Karakorm was Mongolian capital. The Erdene-zuu is one of that place.Erdene-zuu Monastery was built in the 1585 and is surrounded by a massive 400m x 400m wall. It is very interesting Monastry. A long time ago there are about 800 Monasteries had in Karakorm. When there was revolution the all are destruced. Then only this monastery remained.

TERKHIIN TSAGAAN NUUR

I think this is very beautiful lake in my country. I like will sit still and look at the this lake one day. People call it Horgo. The correct name is Terkhiin White Lake, but with a name that long, it's not surprising that most people just call it Horgo. The lake is a place to enjoy nature, so to take full advantage. We arrived here and enjoyed playing, talking, eating, songing, dancing.
